Ep 1 - Daddy's Accident


Airdate: 29 October 1990

Hyacinth's "Daddy" is put into an ambulance and taken to hospital, and Hyacinth is shocked when she hears why. After visiting him, Hyacinth returns home and is visited by the electric man. Finally, Hyacinth has to fend off the amorous advances of "The Major" in his greenhouse as she picks up flowers for her latest candlelight supper.

Ep 2 - The New Vicar


Airdate: 5 November 1990

Hyacinth wants to create the right impression when she invites the new Vicar for "tea and light refreshments." Her hopes are dashed when Onslow and Daisy turn up with the news that Daddy has been kidnapped by a gypsy. The day gets even worse when a love-lorn Rose arrives to talk to the vicar about her own funeral.

Ep 3 - Stately Home


Airdate: 12 November 1990

Hyacinth and Richard visit a stately home where she insists on hanging around the staircase hoping to meet a member of the aristocratic family. However, Onslow, Daisy and Rose turn up unexpectedly, sabotaging her plans. Hyacinth makes her exit dragging Richard through the ground's private gardens to hide from her embarrassing clan.

Ep 4 - The Charity Shop


Airdate: 19 November 1990

It is Liz and Hyacinth's day to help Mrs Nugent at the charity shop, and on their way there, Hyacinth has to make a visit to Daisy's to remove a woman from Daddy's room, who is refusing to leave. Meanwhile, Rose arrives at the charity shop to donate her raunchy underwear because she is in one of her giving-up-men modes.

Ep 5 - Daisy's Toyboy

In an attempt to make Onslow jealous, Daisy finds herself a seventeen-year-old toyboy. However, Onslow fails to even notice. The Ladies' Circle is expecting a guest speaker at the church hall. When Hyacinth arrives she decides to take charge of the arrangements.

Ep 6 - The Christening


Airdate: 3 December 1990

It is the day of Daisy's granddaughter's christening but Hyacinth is displeased that the mother is unmarried. Hyacinth still goes to the christening with some encouragement from Richard. The day does not get any better when the child and mother go missing. Hyacinth then learns that the baby's mother is a hippie, who is unaware of the baby's father.
